Erasmus Student Network PK is a student organisation established in 2007 by Krzysztof Sabik at Cracow University of Technology. Our local section is a part of the biggest student organization in Europe (Erasmus Student Network) which main objective is to support and promote the mobility within international exchange programmes such as Erasmus+. In simple words, we are a group of volunteers focused on making life in a foreign country easier for exchange students through a wide range of events and activities which main goal is to help with adaptation to customs and rules that prevail in Poland.
Our flagship project conducted every semester with the cooperation of the university is a Buddy Project which aims at providing exchange students with a Polish Buddy, who helps them not only with some basic matters like accomodation or paperwork at the university but also is a guide and a friend. Additionally, every semester starts with the Orientation Week as a form of a warm welcoming in Cracow. During the first week of every semester, there are more than 20 events organised in order to make it easier for Erasmus students to socialize with other exchange students, Polish Buddies and ESNers and to get to know the city and the university.
Our slogan is: ‘Students helping students’ and if you wish to read about our other projects, visit the Projects tab. Additionally, if you are interested in the areas in which we carry out our activities, go to The Causes of ESN tab.
To make the work easier, our section consists of 11 teams taking care of different projects and working in different fields, such as: Culture, Social, Buddy, Travel, Sport, Tandem as well as Human Resources, Public Relations, Fundraising and IT. To meet the coordinators, visit Coordinators tab.
